Solution Engineer
Design and deliver smart warehouse automation solutions. Analyze data, optimize logistics flows, lead tenders, and work with vendors to build efficient, scalable automation for MR.DIY.
Key Responsibilities:
Analyze operation’s historical data and performance metrics to optimize automation design and provide insights on inventory movement, order patterns, and operational efficiency.
Identifying the right mix of automation technologies to meet MR.DIY’s logistics needs.
Design the overall automation solution, including robotics, conveyor systems and other automated Material Handling Equipment (MHE).
Prepare the outline and commercial analysis of the proposed automation solution to internal stakeholders.
Prepare the functional and technical requirement specifications / drawings / RFP for tender process.
Oversee the tender process for automation solution.
Review and validate the design basis and performance of automation systems from solution vendors.
Requirement:
1-2+ years of experience in data analytics, preferably in logistics or warehousing.
3-5+ years of experience in designing and implementing automation systems in logistics or warehousing.
Expertise in warehouse automation solutions, robotics, logistics processes and system integration (e.g., WMS, ERP).
Experience with CAD software and / or simulation tools.
Proficiency with data analysis tools (e.g., MS Assess, Power BI) is a plus.
Proficiency in spoken and written English and local language.
Effective communication and customer focused.
Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
