Payroll, Senior Officer
Responsible for accurate attendance monitoring and payroll data management, ensuring all attendance, leave and overtime records are reviewed, verified and updated to support timely payroll processing.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Attendance Monitoring & Verification
Administer daily attendance monitoring and ensure all attendance data is accurately captured in the system.
Collect and review E-Schedule submitted by stores on a daily/weekly basis.
Ensure accuracy of employee clock-in/clock-out times, break hours, and overtime records.
Cross-check attendance data against E-Schedule or other tracking systems to ensure data integrity and compliance.
Monitor absenteeism and ensure proper documentation and system updates.
2. Leave Management
Ensure all leave applications (annual leave, medical leave, unpaid leave, etc.) are accurately recorded in the payroll system.
Verify leave balances and ensure alignment between attendance records and approved leave.
3. Payroll Data Processing & Reporting
Update, process, and retrieve monthly attendance, overtime, and leave reports.
Ensure payroll-related attendance data is accurate before payroll cut-off.
Complete attendance records for resigned and absenteeism staff on a weekly basis.
Support payroll processing by ensuring all relevant attendance and overtime information is properly documented and validated.
4. Compliance & Data Accuracy
Ensure compliance with company policies and statutory requirements related to working hours and overtime.
Maintain accurate and organized payroll records for audit and reporting purposes.
Liaise with store/admin teams to resolve attendance discrepancies promptly.
Requirements:
Diploma / Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Accounting or related field.
Minimum 1 years experience in payroll or attendance management.
Familiar with payroll system and HRIS.
Good knowledge in Microsoft Excel.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Able to work under tight deadlines.
Good communication skills and able to liaise with store team.
