Executive, Account Receivable (Operation & Receipting)
To independently manage and prepare daily sales and receipting activities with accuracy, compliance, and coordination.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare, maintain and verify daily sales master files for Malaysia, Singapore & Cambodia.
Assist in cashier reports, download bank statement, statement from portal and etc.
Monitor store submissions and follow up on discrepancies.
Process and allocate receipts for local & international, trade & non-trade transactions.
Perform and manage bank reconciliation.
Investigate sales, receipt, and bank-in discrepancies.
Handle refunds and adjustments according to SOP.
Prepare daily/weekly/monthly operational sales and receipting reports.
Review receipt postings and operational data for accuracy.
Prepare routine AR-related journal entry listings with supporting schedules (e.g. receipt reversals, mispostings).
Ensure documents are comply with company policy and audit-ready.
Guide and coach non-executive or new joiners.
Participate and provide feedback and idea in process improvement initiatives.
Support month-end closing activities.
Support audit documentation preparation.
Handle ad hoc and additional tasks assigned by line manager, including new or extended responsibilities introduced due to changes in company strategy, business requirements, or operational priorities.
Requirements:
Diploma/Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field.
1–3 years of experience in AR, finance operations, or project coordination (Senior Executive: 3+ years).Basic accounting knowledge and strong understanding of AR processes (Senior Executive: retail industry experience is preferred and will be an advantage.)
Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Google Sheets, and reporting tools.
Strong follow-up discipline and ability to manage multiple tasks.
Good communication, coordination, and interpersonal skills.
Attention to detail with strong documentation and reporting habits.
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
Strong problem-solving, analytical thinking, and time management skills.
Ability to handle confidential information professionally.
